I have wanted a laser head for my cnc machine for years. Finally picked this up and I'm very impressed. Instead of a separate head, I have two machines that can run simultaneously. Very impressed with the speed and detail it provides. I'm still learning it's capabilities but I have a feeling it'll be working for me a lot in the future.

The machine was easy to assemble, using 3rd party online videos as a guide, the instruction manual was better than most manuals for products that come from China. The laser is slightly lower in cost with similar models. This is a basic stripped-down laser with lasergrbl included. Online forums were helpful in answering my questions, Comgrow Tech Support did the best that they could, usually responded within 1 day. My only concern with all of the low cost lasers now available from China, too many people are buying them, believing somehow that they will start a business and be successful, even without a business plan or any type of plan, for that matter. So yes, good for hobbyists and a good machine. Do be careful and wear safety goggles as specified, do your research and buy a large magnifying glass, some of the screws are very small.

Now that I got it working, works great. Had an issue with the mainboard shipped and my Mac, replacement board is working great.

So far it has been very good but I am just trying to learn things. So far good.

My first steps was with the Z1 5W but now I have my 10 W and i like. I think i will by the 20W too 👍👍
